英語の情報では Announcing Windows 10 がクライアント OS、An early look at the future of the datacenter from Microsoft がサーバー OS の情報を追うのによいようです。
ちなみに、先ほど Azure の仮想マシンに [Windows Server Technical Preview, [MonthYear]] が来ていたのでひゃっほーと思ってデプロイしたところ、先ほどのタイミングでは 2008 R2 でした。
確かにアイコンは 2008 R2 ですね。 
仕事終わったら情報見始めようと。

管理系の System Center も同時リリースになっているようですね。
管理用の Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 10 Technical Preview もリリースされていますので定期的に、http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/DownloadResults.aspx?FORM=DLC&ftapplicableproducts=%5EAllDownloads&sortby=-availabledate を確認しておくとよさそうですね。
そのうち、Windows 10 Technical Preview 用の Windows ADK もリリースされるかもしれませんので。
日本時間の 10/1 では 2008 R2 だった Azure の仮想マシンのイメージも Server TP のものに置き換わったようです。
サーバーの基本的な機能でしたら Azure の仮想マシンを使うと楽かもしれないですね。
まだ、サーバーしか見れていないのですが、日本語の言語パックはないみたいですね。
IME についてはインストールできますので、GUI が日本語化できないだけで、操作には困らなさそうですが。
